| The blocks come crashing down, In sequence they fall to and fro, Different shapes to fit a puzzle, That only in time can be solved.
Shapes fall down so fast and true, What am I to do but move them? What if I can not place them? Will my score then be lost?
I calm down for a moment, Take a deep breath of pause, Now is the moment of truth, Will I beat this tower?
Time has slowed down, My heart beats to the song, One more block and I am done, Alas the blocks have crushed me.
All is not left in despair, For a new day has come, Time to face a new puzzle, Hope arises and a new game begins.

Our daughter was a Tetris whiz at 10, seriously. & now at 23 she's married, with a child, a manager & owns a house. Don't know if it's related, but she definately whoops butt!

| Playing Tetris is an excellent way to hone organization skills. It doesn't surprise me that she can juggle all those things in her life successfully. There was no Tetris when I was younger. Now I'm so disorganized, I couldn't find my ass if I was sitting on it! | |

| is that a philosophy? like erm 'tetric-yoga'? be at one with the shapes let them fall as they may be at one with the shapes 'til you've wasted the day. | |

| ~ Well, there's always a tax-strapped semi-celebrity somewhere! Have a telethon... "Pleeease help the poor square pegs!!! They struggle through life, alone, unfitted to a world of round holes!!! That's right, with a minimal donation of $20.000. YOU can help by squaring just a few holes for them to be welcome in!!!" | |

| i'm thinking of a 12 step program for square pegs
1 try to be a well rounded indiviual 2 its ok to cut corners 3 try sanding off the rough edges 4 admit your different and stay away from round holes 5 get handicapped plates 6 try to go through really large holes 7 its hip to be square (huey lewis) 8 'its a circle of life' is not a personal attack 9 remember area and volume formulas are much simpler for squares 10 your not square, just angularly challenged 11 if spongebob can be a success, you can to 12 you can rock, but you can't roll
